Neither of us seemed to have slept well last night, and was up early before the sun ready to go to the yard. We had scheduled a meeting with the audio gauge technician, so that they could determine the thickness of the hull and if there were any particular spots we needed to worry about…well we had been worrying about that all night I would say.
It was a beautiful winter morning with a certain crispness to the air and a chill that sunk right through you. Everyone was there on time along with the contractor welder.
It was a great constructive and informative morning. Overall we were super happy with the results, which showed that with the exception of one small spot Kata Brava is a sound vessel.
